Ameera London is a successful family run business with London roots and pride in its Moroccan heritage. Although relatively new to the beauty market, Ameera London has a steadily growing global customer base of stylish cosmetics and skincare enthusiasts.
Since launching in 2016, taste makers and major publications including British Vogue, Tatler, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Brides have recognised the luxurious sophistication of Ameera London’s nourishing Moroccan Ghassoul facial mask and rejuvenating Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil.
Being given the opportunity to collaborate with Ameera London has been amazing and one I am grateful for as the products are now a part of my daily routine. I was able to try out the LIQUID GOLD PURE ARGAN OIL 100ML from £39.99 and also the MOROCCAN GHASSOUL 200G again from £39.99.
The Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil by Ameera London is 100% organic, rich in rejuvenating Vitamins A and E and essential fatty acids, and hydrates skin, hair and nails. Extracted from the nut kernels of Argan trees in Agadir, Morocco, our luxurious Argan Oil reduces dryness, encourages moisture retention and protects skin and hair from pollutants, chemicals and sun damage.
I have combination skin and before the Collab I completely avoided facial moisturisers and masks because of how oily my skin would get afterwards and not to forget the unmissable outbreak of spots, I know! How bad is that?! But I certainly found that the Argan Oil helped to moisturise my dry areas but not over moisturise the oily t-zone. It made my skin feel so fresh and it had an amazing glow. I also have dark under eyes and red areas and I have noticed more of a balance to my overall skin tone since using the Liquid Gold Oil and I cant wait to see what my skin is like once I finish the 100ml bottle, a few drops certainly go a very long way.
I have tried various different Argan oils in the past, but I have always found they cause really bad outbreaks and the oil from my skin can get out of control, with Ameera you literally don’t get this. I apply it before I go to bed, this way I am not applying anything else to my face until the next day when its completely absorbed into my skin which allows me to get the full benefit.
I did try putting it on in a morning before applying makeup a few times and I found that you need no more than 2 drops depending on how long you have to get ready. I know in a morning I stay in bed as long as I can so when I do eventually start to get ready I have no time to wait around and if you apply more than two drops you will have to wait a fair few minutes to allow for the oil to soak in before applying makeup. The Moroccan Ghassoul clay mask is 100% organic, hypoallergenic and sourced from the beds of the Atlas Mountains. Ghassoul’s enriched properties including potassium, iron and magnesium provide restorative nourishment and softness to the skin and hair. This world-renowned cleansing facial mask removes dead skin cells, counteracts toxins beneath the skin, tightens pores and stimulates elasticity, giving luminous results. Moroccan Ghassoul is also a fantastic shampoo and conditioner.
Again I have found this product to be really beneficial too. I feel as though a whole new layer of dirt that you didn’t even know was there gets removed. Even when my face looks clean, it feels so much fresher when you’ve used these masks. Another important thing for me with masks is the effect it has on your skin afterwards. I have tried so many that make your skin look amazing but then that soon turns into an outbreak and excessive oil just like with moisturisers. Id say I have had miles less spots since starting this collab and ones that have appeared have gone away again like the next day! also my makeup has been going so much better too, extra bonus!. (No changes to any other products I use)
I would recommend Ameera to anyone who is looking for a moisturiser and cleaner and who often suffer from outbreaks and oily skin from regular products.
